Peppered Turkey Wings with Ugandan Sweet Potato Fries

Nothing beats a good home cooked meal. Especially when you've run out of ideas to cook this week. Don't worry, we got you! Today we're making Peppered Turkey Wings with Ugandan Sweet Potato fries. Forget KFC, this is truly finger licking!

    Method
    1. Wash and season your turkey wings with 1 chopped onion, garlic cloves, 2 chicken knorr cubes, curry powder, African hot pepper, garlic and coriander powder, fresh thyme and ginger. Simmer in 1 cup of water over medium heat, until tender (approx 30mins-1hr), adding more seasonings to your acquired taste. Once tender, shallow fry and brown
    2. Blitz 2 red bell peppers, 1 onion, 1 scotch bonnet in a food processor. Shallow fry red onions, green and yellow peppers, then add your pepper mix for 20 mins until it reduces, season with the above ingredients to your own taste (e.g. African hot pepper and chicken knorr), then mix in your fried turkey wings
    3. Slice your Ugandan sweet potatoes and cassava into fries. Parboil and deep fry until crispy
    4. Slice and fry your plantain
